How the pilot works
Referrals are voluntary and not guaranteed. Every request is read by a real person, and members refer when they genuinely can — so we ask the same honesty from both sides.
What happens after you apply
You send a request
Tell us the role and company you're targeting, plus a short note on why you're a fit.
A community lead reviews it
We check that the role is still open, that the company is a real match, and that your note is ready to share.
We match you with a member
If someone in the community can refer at that company, we connect the two of you directly.
Your referrer submits you
They refer you internally and let you know what happens next, or tell you honestly if it isn't a fit.
What's expected of you
If you're looking for a referral
- Be specific about the role and company you're targeting.
- Keep your resume and LinkedIn current before you send a request.
- Reply to your referrer within a few days.
- Keep one request open at a time so the same person isn't asked twice.
- Share the outcome with your referrer, whether it works out or not.
If you're referring someone
- Only refer people whose work you'd stand behind.
- Reply within a week, even when the answer is no.
- Keep candidate details inside your company's hiring process.
- Referrals are unpaid — this is community goodwill, not a side hustle.
- Say no when your team isn't hiring; we'll look for another match.
