Company Spotlight: What Is A Capsule Wardrobe?
In 1930 the average woman had 36 items of clothing in her closet. Today, it’s 120. Back then, the clothes cost a lot more so people bought only what they loved and needed. But now we buy clothes just because they are cheap.
The average American only wears 20% of their closet and spends 17 minutes per day getting dressed. Our customer’s problem was actually my own. I would wake up every morning and say “I have way too much clothing and nothing to wear” which was ridiculous because I had over 450 items in my closet. Not only is it a problem most women (and some men) can attest to… it was a problem worth solving.
